Help - Can't enter BIOS

Hello,

 

I am trying to enter the BIOS on a lenovo Y5070.I could do it a few days ago, but now the NOVO button doesn't do anything.I recently got the motherboard replaced and have the latest firmware installed on it.

 

Any advice?

Greetings. 

 

Try fully shutting the laptop down and use the Novo button to power on.

Would the Novo Menu appear offering the BIOS set up? What would show onscreen?

Nothing happens when I try to start the laptop using the NOVO button

Hi Mariantomescu , 

 

Would it turn on ? any indication of power ? anything onscreen?

How was the power LED ? solid on / amber blinking / off ?

If pressing the caps lock / num lock , any response to the LEDs?

The laptop doesn't turn on, ni button is lit and there is no response from the keyboard (no caps lock lights).Basically, when I press the NOVO button, nothing happens.

Hi Mariantomescu , 

 

Greetings. 

 

Try  power button to turn on , keep tapping  FN + F2 and check.

Novo button should also turn on the system as it was suppose to so definitely you may need to report it back with technical support regarding Novo key failure as this maybe something mechanical.
