I have a Lenovo Y50-70. For the budget I couldnt be happier(even with with Israel's high prices on anything electric). The Windows 8.1 is seriously starting to annoy me though.
Anyway, I am trying to use Cubase 7 and it appears as though it has performance issues. According to Steinberg and various other sources one of the things that one must do to increase the performance of Cubase is to disable the hyper threading feature of my Intel i7 processor.
Turns out I have to do it through the BIOS(which I have updated with the latest update) but I cant find any option there to disable the Hyper threading feature(Only the Intel Virtualization Technology). What do I do?

I want to do this also, I think Lenovo will need to issue a BIOS update. HT is not always the best way when it comes to gaming, Id like to have the control over if I wish to use HT or not.
Please sort this out Lenovo.
