hello im using my brother's y410p laptop and I want to use my mechanical keyboard on it, it's not comfortable putting it infront of the laptop so I need to put it on top of the existing keyboard and that sometimes accidently presses buttons, anyway to disable the keyboard or uninstall drivers for it to not function?

Hi DeluxeM ,
There is no specific hotkeys for such function for the model, as uninstalling keyboard driver may just get microsoft to reinstall corresponding driver at restart. Alternatively assigning driver or using utility can also be tested.
Since this is just temporary , physically disconnecting is not an option but using a rubber foot at the bottom of the external in proper placement is a simple way for this task .
Hope this helps answer your query.
