I cannot access my y510p ideapad. The language option dissappeared from the password/lock screen

I have a lenovo y510p ideapad laptop. Using windows 10. A few days ago I created a password in a different language. Every time I opened the laptop I had an option to change languages and enter the password. Suddenly the option has dissappeared and I cannot seem to find a way to change languages in order to enter the password. Any ideas to solve the matter asap plz??

Re: I cannot access my y510p ideapad. The language option dissappeared from the password/lock screen

Hi Kyli10782 ,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

The forum rules do not permit discussion of getting around security measures which a password is.

"No posts shall include instructions or directions intended to subvert security measures, including passwords, locking mechanisms, fingerprint scans, etc, or to subvert safety measures. Nor shall any posts provide descriptions to the location of, nor direct links to content related to these topics."

Without subverting any security measures  I would suggest you contact Microsoft to have you assisted with reset of password going thru the security checks if needed.

Regards

Re: I cannot access my y510p ideapad. The language option dissappeared from the password/lock screen

I understand, however my issue is not the way you think it is, because microsoft acount isn't linked to me lockscreen password, because I already tried to reset my Microsoft account but that did not help. After all I did not forget my password nor am I searching for a method around entering the laptop without a password. All I need is a fix on how I can enable the language option that dissappeared from my lock screen. I do know my password but it is just in a different language that I can't find a way to change into.

Since the problem you are experiencing is with the Windows operating system and its log on process, I would recommend you visit the Microsoft forums for additional assistance.  That would be a better venue is which to resolve the language log on issue.
