i am very frustrated & disappointed to buy this product Ideapad Y560 as just after 1 year, the laptop went dead and when i sent it for repair, i was informed that it needed a new MotherBoard !!? which is half its price..
then i discovered that many people who bought this specific laptop suffer the same problem... the Motherboard need to be replaced even before 1 year ... and the cause which might cause it according to some people is the overheating of the motherboard !! obviously QA of this product was not done at all.... Shame on Lenovo.. i will not buy any product from a company who do not perform QA & QC on its products before selling to clients..

This is not as a result of poor Q and A by lenovo. Lenovo makes good stuff and they stand by their products. I have seen 8 of these machines with the same problem, and they were all caused by the same cause. Negligence. People buy electronics and assume that after buying it, they never have to do any maintenance. All of these machines overheated and fried because people weren't keeping the heatsinks and fans clear of debris, i.e. dust, lint, animal hair, nicotine, etc. It's like going to a car dealership and buying a new car and never doing any oil changes. Don't say you didn't know you had to maintain it. Everything on this planet needs maintenance.
