Idea Pad Z565 wifi adapter

I currently own a Lenovo Idea Pad Z565. I would like to upgrade the current Broadcom 802.11n Network Adpater to a newer adapter that supports 802.11a/c/b/g at 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands w/wifi-bluetooth all in one. Does the Z565 support this type of wifi adapter and if so, where can I purchase one?

Thanks

Gregg

If you plan to change the built-in card you will have a problem since Lenovo do not allow it. A walk around is to have your bios modded. However, there is possiblity that it will not work and render your unit useless.

Another walk around that avoids the modding of the bios is to use a usb dual band dongle. This will make your connection available in 2.4 or 5 Ghz without problem.
