Re: IdeaPad FAQ

A very simple question not covered in the manual. It is about battery led.

1) It goes red/orange when the battery charge is low.

2) It blinks red/orange when the battery charge is low and the battery is charging.

3) It rarely blinks cyan when the battery charge is not low and the battery is charging.

4) It is on and not blinking after the charging finished, but the notebook is turned off.

I would expect for the battery led to completely turn off after the battery is full. Is it the correct behavior of battery led?

BTW I have Ideapad U450, MTM 59028762.

Re: IdeaPad FAQ

@ missamoe

i don't think so, but if you install ubuntu, you may have trouble with one key recover, if you un-install ubuntu, you may have trouble with windows booting.

to make sure, you can call lenovo support line. for warranty issue.

Re: IdeaPad FAQ

I have a Y530 and find the the orange multimedia buttons to be a bit distracting when watching movies.  Can I turn them off? I took a look in the Device Manager but didn't see anything...

Re: IdeaPad FAQ

i'm not sure but if you un-install one key theater, buttons may stop working.
