I have some questions regarding Lenovo's S12 12.1 Ion netbook and up to now, I have not been able to find the congruous answers. I hope that you will be able to help me...
1. Is it possible to separate the battery from the netbook during that time working at home (in order to enable long time battery health)?
2. What is the max. amount of memory (RAM) the netbook can use?
3. Is there any page onto the Lenovo webpage that contains further technical details? Up to now i have not been able to find something like that.

I have a thousand questions regarding my new y550p. Is there a way to get answers other than these forums?
Your setup leaves a lot to be desired. Once it starts you cannot reset the options selected without doing an install. So rather than unselecting an unwanted option in the setup you have to go into control panel and uninstall the unwanted application. There is no explanation or help that is evident in the setup other than the statement that some of the programs selected will cost money. Which ones? How do I know until I select them? How do I know what they do so that I can determine whether to select them?
The one I accidentally selected since I'm unfamiliar with touch pads, is ID Vault. Once selected it can't be unselected, only installed. So I exited the setup program by closing the window. Then every hour I got a reminder to install ID Vault. Options are to install or be reminded again in an hour. After several days of reminders I decided to install it. It won't install it says my computer clock is wrong. Why I'm not sure since the time and date shown in the lower right corner match the clock on the wall and my calendar (of course the system originally came with the time set to local ROC time).
McAfee installed a 60 day free version. At the end of that time am I going to be able to uninstall it and use a program of my choice or will I be badgered forever?
