So, I have a brand new Lenovo Ideapad Z565 and I am having a few different problems with it. They are:
1.) There is a strange sound that comes from inside the computer on occasion. I know it is from inside the computer because it still happens when I have the laptop on mute. I really don't know how to describe the sound. Perhaps like a loud scratch. I am figuring if this has ever happened to somebody else they will recognize what I am talking about.
2.) This problem is also about a strange sound, but it is not coming from inside the computer. It happens when playing a song on iTunes, and sometimes there will be a short interruption of distortion in the song, kinda like the sound you hear when you adjust the antenna of a radio or mess with your headphones. It seems to happen especially when I am using the Internet, like the process of going to a new web page interferes with iTunes, but sometimes it also happens when I am doing nothing else. I know it is nothing messed up about the music files themselves, because I will rewind the song and not hear the noise again, and it can happen on any song but never happens on my iPod, and I know the files are fine.
3.) Just discovered this one. My CD-ROM drive is not reading CDs. It successfully reads DVDs, and it successfully read one CD that I put in, but 2 other CDs which are fine that I put in, nothing happens. This seems very strange for a brand new computer.
*Edit: I have discovered that the problem is with SACD discs. My computer recognizes regular CDs, but not SACDs. I don't know much about SACDs. Should they work in my CD-ROM drive, and if so, how can I make it recognize them?
Well, obviously I am having a few different issues with a brand new computer which is unfortunate, but hopefully somebody has heard of these issues and will be able to provide a solution. Thanks for reading.

for sound issue, try to update drivers from the link below.

Thanks for the suggestion. I installed the new driver but I still hear the interfering sound from time to time randomly in the middle of listening to music in iTunes. Also, does anyone know if the CD-ROM drive for this computer (Ideapad Z565) should be able to recognize/play SACDs?

This isn't really a solution. I think I should be able to use iTunes without hearing these noises. Also, you haven't answered my question regarding SACDs. Is there anyone else on here that can help me?

could be codec or media player issue as i told before.
that's why i suggested you to install some other media player to check the issue.
if it doesn't persist, i would've suggested you to re-install itunes.
about your sacd issue, due to i don't have the same system, i won't be able to answer it.
hope someone else may help you.

I have reinstalled iTunes along with the new sound drivers, and while the noise seems to occur a lot less frequently, it still happens on occasion. I guess I was hoping someone would see this who had experienced this issue before.
