Hi there,

 

This happened a few times before.


Sometimes when I press Fn + Keys to adjust the brightness/volume, the screen display appears, but it doesn't change my brightness/volume

.

But there are other times when I press Fn + Keys to adjust the brightness/volume, the screen display does not appear, but it changes my brightness/volume.

 

But for most of the time, the screen display doesn't appear but it changes my brightness/volume.

 

I am so confused as to why this is happening. And I seek for solution as soon as possible. Any kind soul out there who is able to help me, please?

Hi Loveweilin,

 

Fn+ keys and OSD are controlled by Lenovo Energy Management, please try this fix...

first download the appropriate  Lenovo Energy Management Driver  for your Windows version to desktop...

next go to  Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features  and  un-install  Energy Management ...

now restart (reboot) your Z460, then double-click the previously downloaded new Lenovo Energy Management Driver

file to re-install Energy Management... restart one more time...
