I have Lenovo IdeaPad Z710, old BIOS and Windows 10
How can I upgrade it to a new one now?
Lenovo Vantage does not find the update, the site has an update - Update BIOS for Windows 7 (32- and 64-bit versions), Windows 8 (32- and 64-bit versions), Windows 8.1 (64-bit) - Lenovo Z710 7FCN96WW
can it be installed from under 10?

Yes, you can install version 96 from windows 10. Download the update from your support page.
I would not update the BIOS unless you find a change in the readme that is needed on your machine.
7FCN96WW Modified: 1. Correct Intel 3160-AC WLAN combo card SSID.
7FCN95WW Modified: 1. Support Intel 3160-AC WLAN combo card. 2. Fix the S3 LED abnormal issue.

But in readme no Windows 10 support, only:
Flash BIOS update - Flash from Operating System version for Lenovo Z710 Version 7FCN96WW Applicable OS Windows 7 32-bit & 64-bit, Windows 8 32-bit & 64-bit, Windows 8.1 64-bit

That is because the last time the BIOS update was released, it was for OEM win8/8.1 machines.
Lenovo never shipped a Z710 with windows 10.

When upgrading from under Windows 10 there will be no problems? Or I should use live CD with Windows 8. Or bootable USB Fladh and DOS?
I have updated the BIOS in my 700-15ISK, and it works only when the laptop is running in UEFI mode. This means that you must have installed the operating system in UEFI mode. You (probably) need to run the EXE file from the OS installed in the system, and not from a live CD. Certainly you will not be able to install the BIOS from DOS.

I updated Bios on the old x230 in windows 10. but for x230 there is a version for Windows 10. At z710 no, I'm a little worried.
PS: See you in the MediaPortal forum.
