IdeaPad z710 colors

Hi to all,

Does anybody of you bought the ideapad z710? I have an issue with the colors, the display has a yellow tint. I checked and updated the drivers but nothing changed, i also calibrated the display but nothing. My experience says that these are the colors of the monitor and that there is nothing more that i can do. I'm very disappointed but never mind .... Does anyone else faces the same problem?

Steve

Re: IdeaPad z710 colors

The orange and brown colors look like green and yellowish. The panel looks blueish. The technicians told me that the panel of the laptop is like this in order to save energy. I feel very sorry for my purchase.

Re: IdeaPad z710 colors

I was wondering about the color representation on this screen and this is the first place i have found any concrete answers. Which screen is this that you are commenting on 1366/768,1600x900, or 1920x1080??

Re: IdeaPad z710 colors

I also did not like the Default Colors on my ideapad z710.

But I could Adjust Colors.

What I did:

First, I removed the App "OneKey Theather", seems to me it overrides the adjustments.

On the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel, there is a Menu for Color Adjustment.

Adjust there the colors. I needed to Adjust every Color one by one.

You need to pay a close attention to the Green Color.

Also Gamma is too High.

Do not forget to SAVE your Profil. It is a must, because it is difficult to adjust colors and sometimes it reverts to Default, so you need to start from you saved Profil.

Also in Windows >Personalization >Display>Change Dispaly Settingst> Advanced Settings let you take Control of System Color Managment. But here you can not fine tune colors.

EDIT: My current Color settings

RED : -19

GREEN : -13

BLUE : -23

CONTRAST : 48

GAMMA : 0,9

Re: IdeaPad z710 colors

What do you mean by "Adjust every Color one by one"? Red, Green and Blue?
