Hi guys, looking for help.
I tried to plug my Ac power supply to my laptop, and I can't power on my laptop.
However, when I try using my battery instead of Ac, the laptop manage to power on.
Then, I try to plug in Ac power supply into the laptop inserted with battery.
The battery icon shows the plug icon and charging status BUT it's not charging at all! And the battery percentage keep dropping.
I had tried to
-reset my laptop.
-downgrade from windows 10 to 8.1
-reinstall battery driver at device manager
-press for 45sec power button
But the problem still remain unsolved. My Ac power supply and battery are not in defect, doubting the hardware insd laptop. Please help me. Unfortunately my warranty just expired half year ago. Is thr any way to solve the problem? Thank you!!

Welcome to the Community Forums.
You can follow the "Power Checkout Guidelines" from the hardware manual here on page 21-22.
Without the battery and directly plugging the AC charger should allow you to power on the machine, else would indicate systemboard issue. Before jumping on probable motherboard replacement other parts may also be considered like DC in port, board and cable.
Otherwise, try to double check the AC charger integrity as described in the manual (Checking the AC adapter page 21) using a volt meter or better yet with a compatible charger like a universal charger. Using the same charger on a different device can be done alternatively.
Use the laptop with only the battery until it is drained to 20%.
With the battery drained should show blinking amber on the battery indicator.
Connect the charger for 2-3 hours taking note of the battery indicator (without powering the laptop.
This should change from initial blinking amber to white as a normal operational charging.
Update us how it goes.
