Ideapad Z500 enable virtualization ?

Hi there,

 

I am using Z500 with windows 8 64Bit but everytime I run Vmware image system get crash, I had another laptop HP one on that in Bios there was option to enable virtualization but i couldnt find that option in Z500 Bios can somebody help me on that. ?? where i can find that option or how to fix this problem.

Hi
According to the lenovo bios simulator matrix, z500 does has an option to enable/disable virtualization. Do you have a menu like this?

If you have, then enable intel virtual technology.

Hi, I have got also Z500 but I can't see this option in BIOS ... Any ideas how to enable virtualization?

Like the previous poster it should be in the configuration menu.

But I said, I haven't got it in there Smiley Sad the option about virtualization is missing ...

Can you specify what bios do you have (Inyde H2O or Phoenix) and version number?

 

If possible can you post a picture of the configuration menu of your bios?

Your bios version is 71CN31WW. There is a new bios 71CN51WW available in the download site. The new one has the intel virtual technology option. I couldn't give you the link right now since the site might be having some difficulty. So try to check later. Also be sure that your processor is capable of the feature that you seek.

I got the new BIOS but still the Virtualization setting doesnt appear.  What do I do now ?
