Re: Ideapad Z500 enable virtualization ?

Hi
According to the lenovo bios simulator matrix, z500 does has an option to enable/disable virtualization. Do you have a menu like this?

If you have, then enable intel virtual technology.

Like the previous poster it should be in the configuration menu.

Can you specify what bios do you have (Inyde H2O or Phoenix) and version number?

If possible can you post a picture of the configuration menu of your bios?

Re: Ideapad Z500 enable virtualization ?

Your bios version is 71CN31WW. There is a new bios 71CN51WW available in the download site. The new one has the intel virtual technology option. I couldn't give you the link right now since the site might be having some difficulty. So try to check later. Also be sure that your processor is capable of the feature that you seek.
