Re: Ideapad Z560 not booting up

Hi Neeraj,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

I’m sorry to hear that your Z560 Laptop is not booting to Windows and not entering the BIOS menu, below are the steps to check and resolve the issue:

  • Remove the battery and any other peripheral device connected to the computer.
  • Hold the power button for 10-15 seconds and then connect only the AC Adapter and try to turn ON the computer.
  • If the issue persists even after performing Flee Power then resetting BIOS to its defaults should resolve the issue.
  • Now access the BIOS menu in the computer.

Hope this helps!!!

Do post us back if the issue still persists.

Best Regards

Shiva Kumar

Re: Ideapad Z560 not booting up

Hi Hbkneeraj,

As you have performed above mentioned troubleshooting steps, below are the steps to reset the BIOS to its defaults:

  • To access the BIOS menu press F2 when the Lenovo logo appears on the screen while the computer is starting up.
  • Then to reset the BIOS to its defaults by clicking on “F9” Key and select YES.
  • Now Click on “F10” Key to safe the changes that are done in BIOS, restart the computer and check if the issue is resolved.

Do post us back if the issue still persists.

Best Regards

Shiva Kumar
