So, I just noticed this and it has been going on for quite a while I think, the fan on the right side of my laptop is not working. My laptop is an ideapad y510p. The fan not working causes my gpu to go upwards of 75c and I have no clue how to cool it down or make the fan even work in the first place. Any help would be appreciated

Hi Sedonis ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
From your onservation of a probable fan failure, initial advise is to check and do neccessary clean up for both fans and filters , inspect for any failure is spin and blockage in normal air circulation going to the exhaust.
External base fans and coolers can help but best to check for hardware integrity frst.
Herewith is the hardware manual as a guide and videos here and here for reference only as it would be better if you have a service center check on it specially if you don't have the tools and skill for the steps .
Update us how it goes .
