I bought a ideapad y530 a couple of months ago. I really love it, especially with the nvidia graphics card. However, lately, it's been over heating way to quickly and slows down performance. After 10 minutes of playing a mid-level graphics game and then every five minutes after that it will overheat and slow the cpu and graphics speed down (the fan sounds like a blow dryer too). I opened up the case to check for dust or if the heat sync was loose, but nothing was found (don't worry, I'm A+ technician certified).
I just want to know if there's something better I can install for the laptop to cool it down better or even if there's a laptop cooling stand that works well with the y530?

I suggerst either liquid got out of heatpipes or jsut GPU or CPU thermal grease is dryed out, and another variant is just not tough interaction between chips and heatsink - you can examine last two by yourself.
None of cooling pads will help you in these situations.
