Ideapad y560 Help

Ya, I'm not sure what's wrong with my laptop. It's a y560 with core i7 and 4gb of ram.

When I play games on it, it lags a lot (my desktop which is a lot worse than the laptop can run the games way better than the laptop does) and after a while the screen will go black, then it will go back on but be so laggy that the mouse won't move and it will keep doing this until i hold the power button to turn it off.

Also, every once in a while the mouse gets really big and will usually stay like that until i turn the laptop off.

Also, i tried downloading a video driver driver for the laptop off of lenovo's website and this is what happens:

First it does that while extracting the files, and it doesn't finish extracting. It always stops at f.jpg.

Then it does this after i press install.

If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Ideapad y560 Help

I'm not too good with computers so i don't know where to find the previous package Smiley Tongue

Also, i just checked my driver and it said it the driver version i have is 8.702.5.0

I also told it to update my driver and it said that it was up to date.

Re: Ideapad y560 Help

Ok, I ran that file you sent me, but now when i try to download the driver from http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/ca/en/DriversDownloads/drivers_show_2616.html# it says the server is redirecting me wrong and it won't let me download it.

I deleted the old copy i had cause i thought i didn't need it anymore, and now i can't get it again.
