Invisible partition became visible Y730a

2009-04-10, 6:57 AM
Hello. After a system failure (there was a blue screen), the hidden area of a disk for system restoring became visible. Accordingly OneKey Recovery does not work. Probably most to return it into place or it is necessary to access in service centre? Thanks

You should change type of hidden partition to 0x12 (12h).

This could be done by free EASEUS partition Manager.

I change type of hidden partition to 0x12 (12h). Now at standard loading all works normally, but at loading through button OneKeyRecovery writes "NTDLR is missing".

Have a nice day!

You can either fix ntldr by changing again to 0x7, booting from some non-OEM Vista DVD, entering console and using bootsect utility (find some guides in inernet) - this has a chance to help but I'm not sure.

Or you can try getting some image of this partition over torrents.
