Question

I used a program called CPU-z to check my memory configurations and for the ram it is 8GB with 667MHz max bandwith. When i ordered the computer it was supposed to have 1333MHz as its max bandwith. Then my CPU is a Intel® Core™ i7-720QM Processor ( 1.60GHz 1333MHz 6MB ) but the speed that it is operation on is only 133MHz.  Did I get the wrong memory?

Answer

The memory is correct. Since it is DDR memory, you have to double the number that CPU-Z gives you to get the max bandwidth. Double 667MHz and you have about 1333MHz, which is what it should be.

Bus speed of 133MHz is also correct, if that's where you are seeing the 133MHz.
