I've tried to reinstall my Realtek audio drivers, but upon restarting(after running the set-up application) instead of the three Realtek drivers it just has Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus and Nvidia High Definition Audio. I'm using an Y510p Idea Pad with Windows 8 installed. Does anyone know what's wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Lenovo COmmunity Forums!
The Nvidia High Definition Audio is from the Display Adapter/GPU, please not that the Video graphics driver for the NVidia has to be re installed as well.
For the Audio
Open My computer
If you have D: drive inside open that and it should give you a driver/application folder,
Open that and reinstall the driver using the installer there under Audio folder.
It should have the Graphics/ Video driver also.
If you don't have the D: and you're left with the C: Drive
Open that and look for the Drivers folder check if it has a realtek Audio folder.
If it has, Open Device Manager right click on the devices needing audio driver (exclude the nvidia) and choose Update driver,
It will then ask you for option, Choose Browse my computer for drivers,
hit browse and direct it to the path where the Realtek Folder is in drive C:
Install it with that and see if that works
Hope this helps,

Okay I tried using the driver installer in the D: drive instead of C:\ and it gave me this message:
The sound still continues to be absent and nothing changes upon restarting the computer.
