Jumppy Cursor (Does not have to do with typing) Z560

I have a Z560 I have been having trouble with, when I first got the laptop a while back I noticed if my palm touched the rest, at times the touchpad would not respond, and I would have to lift my palm to get it to track again, I thought it was odd and a bit annoying but went on about whatever I was doing. However it has now gotten really bad, the cursor will now jump all over, I can have nothing else touching the computer, other than a single finger (NOT moving) on the touchpad and it will be jumping all over the screen, I uploaded a video so you can see what I mean, from 9 seconds to about 21 seconds, all I have is one finger in the touchpad and I am not moving it, I am keeping it as still as I can but you can see how much it moves, it makes clicking on anything just about impossible.

I have run through many things, tried messing with tracking settings, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers etc without any luck, suggestions anyone?

Re: Jumppy Cursor (Does not have to do with typing) Z560

As stated in my post, I had already uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, as well as adjusted mouse settings with no effect. Thanks for the input though.

Re: Jumppy Cursor (Does not have to do with typing) Z560

touchpad drivers are the latest and have been uninstalled and reinstalled.

Also of note, now if I make sure my palm in in contact with the metal rest of the laptop while I am using the touchpad it seems to work normal, however once I move or lift my palm, it starts jumpping all over again.

Yes, and setting for PalmTracking etc, tried disabling that as well, no luck.
