We recently (Oct. 29th, 2009) purchased (on my recommendation) a LENOVO IDEAPAD Y550 - after exactly one week of use, a total system failure ocurred . Thelaptop was brought directly to the LENOVO office in Turkey. We expected for the laptop to be exchanged immediately. This was totally refused - and after only one week of operation, this brand new laptop is now in repair. Is this NORMAL? We are grateful for any advice on how to handle what we consider a totally unacceptable situation.
