I have had this happen twice. This time the screen flickered and went dim in the middle of working on a document. A day later, I finally figured out how I had fixed it last time. Turn computer off at Shut Down command, not with power key. Turn back on with power button and hold down brightness key ( with sun and plus sign/ shared with F12 button) when Lenovo logo comes up and presto, brightness is fixed. Hate that it happens but like that there is any easy fix to it!

After I did some updates I can no longer adjust the brightness on the screen - my screen is perpetually dim and its driving me crazy! I tried to follow the advice about rolling back the driver but am unable to select the button in the driver manager box, it is dimmed out (sorry, not sure what the technical word is..)
It says I'm using the most uptodate driver but am unable to roll back. There are no other user accounts on my PC so I'm assuming I'm the administrator.
Any help would be greatly appreciated before I lose my eyesight from starting at this dim screen.

I got it installed and hit the "setup.exe" and it asked if it wanted to make changes, I said yes, and then it came up saying "IVY: Can not find setup file!" so I don't know what to do...

Thanks! That got my brightness up and helped a lot. But I still can't control how bright the screen is, it's just stuck all the way up instead of down. A much better problem to have, but I'd still like to get this totally resolved. Any advice?
