LENOVO ideapad z710 defective laptop

HI all,

I purchased a lenovo ideapad Z710 laptop in December for work purposes. However, since the day of arrival it freezes up and hangs every 5-10 minutes for at least 1-2 minutes each time. I thought it w as because maybe it requires updates so i left it for a while but the problem persisted. Also, when the laptop is charging the mouse cursor jums around all over the screen and goes all haywire and clicks random items in the process. I also often get avideo tdr failure. I tired booding the laptop with an external usb with UBUNTU to see if the problem persisted and it did. When i contacted customer support they told me to do a recovery and turns out that guess what? my laptop came with absolutely NO recovery partition whatsoever! I am very disappointed. This is a new laptop i bought for work purposes and now i am getting held back. The very fact that this is a new laptop and nothing seems to be working fine irritates me. It is obviously clear it is a hardware issue yet i have to do allthis running around to repar software so that they can come after and tell me it's hardware. I have no idea what i should  do.

I’m sorry to hear that your Z710 Laptop is not working as expected and as there are multiple issues occurred. The only available option is to contact our Technical Support for further Assistance to get the details of nearest Authorized Service Center to get the issue analyzed.
