Laptop refuses to sleep

When I click on sleep, the montor turns off and it logs me out, but does not actually sleep like it used to.

 

Any ideas as to what is going on here?

Maybe some software keeps running and prevents sleep mode to work properly.

What's with hibernation? does it work well?

I went into my task manager to see if anything new was running.  I had recently purchased a Playstation 3, so I enabled media sharing through Windows Media Player.  After ending the task it caused (wmpnetwk.exe), my laptop was able to sleep again.

 

Looks like you were right.  Thanks!

 

Now I just need to change my settings so it doesn't automatically start every time I turn on my laptop.
