Could you confirm which model system you have? Is this a Y510?
I would ensure you have latest BIOS and power manager driver installed for your particular model. These are available on our support site - support.lenovo.com
Which mode is selected in power management? Does this happen only on battery, or while connected to AC as well? Any difference?
Does it happen always with the same game, or with other applications as well?
The more you can share, the better the chances the community can help you figure this out.

Do you have any third party or external hardware attached to your system?
Which games are you trying to play?
Are you using any client to run these games?
Can you note if this problem happens with a particular game or all games?

Sorry, can you please list a couple of games and whether you are using Steam/Origin or any clilent to play them?
Also when this issue happens -
1) Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer
2) Check in the Application logs or the windows logs if you see any warning or error.
Preferably, if you could post a screenshot of those windows and the detailed description of the error/warning.
