Lenovo IDEAPAD 700-15ISK crash / graphics failure

Hi,

 

Recently I bought my lenovo 700-15ISK with one of the highest configuration (i7, 16GB RAM) and windows 7.

I have huge problem with this computer - it crash 2-3 times per day. When it occure nothing is responding (dislay show some artifacts, noise on audio output) - I'm only able to reset computer by holding power button. It's really annoying because there are days when it doesn't appear and I can't find any common factor of all of this crashes. I'm wondering if I should return computer to seller but I can't afford for delay in my work and I'm trying to figure out what will eliminate or "hide" this problem. Can someone observed similar issue? Maybe this is some driver fault (report  from lenovo solution center attached)?

Hi karnar1988x,

 

Welcome to the Forum.

 

If you have the chance, I would use the free app Lenovo Companion to check if you have any drivers that are not updated.

If this does not work, I would perform a factory reset, discarding then  any software issue, and if the problem persists after that I would consider serously to return the unit and get a newone without problems.

Hi JJQ,

 

Thanks for suggestions. Unfortunatley Lenovo Companion is avaliable only for Windows 10 where I'm using Windows 7.

I will try install Windows 10 and then observe if problem still occure, but in past such kind of crash I observed only in PC with hardware failure (I just switched off Nvidia card in BIOS setup but it doesn't help).
