So I sent my laptop to the depot before my warranty expired to fix one of the hinges that supports the screen broke off. After receiving the laptop, I have had connection issues with my wireless. When I'm plug directly to the ethernet, no problem. The connection was spotty with wifi, but it came and went, didn't think too much of a problem. Now, when i'm running off battery only, I cannot connect. I tried resetting, but to no avail. Strangely, when i'm plugged in via adapter for power, I can connect without any issue.
The problem is when I'm remote and using battery power, I can't connect at all. Anyone experience this problem? Lenovo won't take back the unit since it's past my warranty period now. It's a minor inconvenience having to sit next to an outlet any time I need to connect via wifi.
