Lenovo IdeaPad Y500 TouchPad Can't Click With Button Pressed

2013-10-20, 23:03 PM

Hi everyone

I've been struggling with this issue for the past day and i've tried literally everything out there

My issue is that after I press a key on the keyboard my I cannot click for 1-2 seconds. As you can imagine this makes playing games (the main reason i bought the laptop) nearly impossible.

My touchpad is the Synaptics Clickpad 8.1 if that helps anyone. I am also running Windows 8.1

I have also disabled all keyboard shortcuts , Palmcheck or Smartsense is turned off , sensitivity is at a minimum and i have installed and uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for the clickpad

If anyone can help it would be so appreciated thanks !
