Lenovo IdeaPad Z710 issues

Hello. I have a Lenovo IdeaPad z710. The power jack on the laptop was broken and i had it replaced. When i first got the laptop back I turned it on just to make sure it POSTEd. which it did and shut the lid. Later that day i tried to power it up to use it and all it would do when you hit the power button is the battery light blinks. No fans, display, etc. Any clue on what is going on? Any tips would be appreicated.

Thank you!

Re: Lenovo IdeaPad Z710 issues

That's an error code, contact Lenovo by phone, you may need new power adapter, battery or the power jack replaced again.

Re: Lenovo IdeaPad Z710 issues

I just wanted to let everyone know it ended up being a bad power supply. I tested it with a volt meter and it was suppose to be 20vdc. Didnt get anything out of it. The battery flashing was just saying the battery was dead and couldnt power the laptop. Works great now. Thank you for the help!
