Lenovo Ideapad Y570 OKR problem

2012-10-16, 10:17 AM

hey guys ... i've a series annoying problem

i've as i mentioned Ideapad Y570 Core i7 etc ... i've installed Win7 Manager and i've faced a wired problem, so i used the Win7 Manager repaire center "repaire all system components"

i made the repaire for all windows components outside the microsoft and also the hidden files

then i began to face the blue screen "death screen", then i decided to recover my windows.

i choosed the OKR which requested a restart ... but it didn't login the recovery environement ... tried so many times but nothing happened.

so i created the recovery dics which were 3 dvds ... for the default factory settings .. then i booted from the first DVD but i stops when the screen is black and loading with a caution "windows is loading files"

i tried to uninstall and reinstall the OKR but nothing happened.

please help me to recover my laptop to the default setting !!!

Solved! See the solution

Have you resized your partitions? And in the meantime download ptedit32.exe from the net and change partition type ofthe okr oempartition from 07to12. And try booting into recovery partition by pressing the small key with the power button for switching on laptop.

Please open disk management see the free space of the okr partition. And once again, please tell if you have resized the partitions.

That is why it is not working. If you have recovery disk then you try using it and put the disk in correct order.
