Re: Lenovo Ideapad Y570 OKR problem

If you created the disk from initial backup then using it is worth a try. If it isnt from initial backup then its just useless. And if you want you could refer to the thread below for making factory default hdd with custom partition sizes and new okr rather than clean install. And oem partition is useless if it has free space more than 5-6gb.

Re: Lenovo Ideapad Y570 OKR problem

disk management reads it totally free ... but the partition programs read it full

when i use okr program i was able to create dvds recovery from the hidden partition with no problem so i created the disk from the hidden recovery drive

but the dvd always stops after boot in black screen with "windows is loading files", and doesnt start recovery environement

Re: Lenovo Ideapad Y570 OKR problem

Are you inserting the dvd in correct order? And if you arent able to use dvds then they might be corrupt. And please follow the instruction of the second link if you are sure it has sonething.

Re: Lenovo Ideapad Y570 OKR problem

Just see this links solution. Might be useful if you are sure the oem partition has something.
