Lenovo Ideapad Z500 Win10 Performance

Hello
I recently upgraded my windows from version 8.1 to 10
And I think it's not bad, but a bit later than 8.1 booting, it's getting much faster in Windows before.
But now it's a little slow
It's not a problem in running programs, but I feel this laptop is not built for Windows 10. Will there be a problem?
I feel a little pressure on the laptop hardware.
Is it better to go back to the previous version?
It's also important to add that all drivers are safe and fully installed without problems (even the brightness problem does not exist for me)

It's hard to tell, without knowing your laptop's specs. Could you share you CPU model, how much RAM do you have and what SSD/HDD model you use?

Re: Lenovo Ideapad Z500 Win10 Performance

Your CPU/GPU is more than capable. RAM should be sufficient, but 8GB would be better. The cause is most likely HDD. You probably have it for some years and it starts to show wear. There's a chance, that 6GB might be not enough for apps you're using. In that case HDD is used as virtual memory, which have significant impact on performance. You could consider buying SSD and a caddy for your HDD, so you could still use it instead of disc drive.
