My notebook won't power up. I replaced the power charger. Is the battery required to be installed in the notebook for it to power up? I tried starting the notebook with the battery in and out of it. It won't power up.
My local Microcenter took a look and said I need a new motherboard. When the charger is plugged into the wall outlet and the notebook, none of the three 'power" LEDs light up. The power connector on the notebook was tested and works correctly. Am I sunk here and just need to bite the bullet and get the motherboard replaced?
