Im trying on my laptop and it is directly connected to the HDMI port, but it shows a loading circle.. I just updated all my graphics drivers, so I m pretty sure that its not the reason.
Also when I go to oculus drivers and try to execute it (C:\Programme\Oculus\Support\oculus-drivers), it says "Installer payload initialization failed. This is likely due to an incomplete or corrupt downloaded file."
I contacted Oculus support and they told me that they can only guarantee oculus ready laptops, because mostly the HDMI is to the integrated GPU connected instead of the Dedicated GPU.
Does anyone know if on Lenovo the HDMI connects to the integrated or dedicated?
I read such a problem in this forum from a user who solved it but didnt say how: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-P-Y-and-Z-series/HDMI-Y50-and-HTC-Vive/m-p/3335241/highlight/tru...
Lenovo idea pad y50-70
16 gb RAM DDR 3
Nvidia Geforce G860M 4 GB (its not a must that you have G970, that's just a recommendation)
