Hi everyone, I have had my Lenovo p400 touch for about 3 years now. Just recently, I noticed that when I plug in my computer, the charging light stays white at all times. The battery always says "Charged, 100%" but when I unplug my charger from the laptop, it immediately shuts down. The screen goes black and all my work is left unsaved. It has gtten to the point where I always need to have the charger in it, otherwise I can't use the laptop at all. Every time I unplug the charger the laptop turns off.
Do I need a new battery? Is the battery bad, or is there something I can do to fix this? I've heard new battery drivers might help, but I am lost. I know replacing the battery in this laptop isnt easy, so I am hoping there is some other solution for me.
Any advice would be appreciated!!

Welcome to the Forums Mark!
You could try updating the BIOS, chipset & Lenovo energy management.
Once you unplug the power adapter it shutdown, if this is the scenario the issue is with battery. Hence I would suggest you to visit the nearest authorised Lenovo authorised support for better assistance.
