I own a LeNovo Y50-70 Touch that I bought in the USA and I came to this forum in the hopes of finding some assistance.
The thing is, I'm in Brazil. And my notebook is not working properly ^_^'
(It turns on very briefly and then shuts down).
I've contacted the Brazilian LeNovo central and they told me they can't help me with this, because it's a model that is not manufactured here. So I went ahead and consulted with a general computer repairs shop. They took my notebook in, analysed it, charged me the services fee and told me they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it.
(what a waste of money, right?)
So I was wondering if there are any other options for me... This is a really expensive piece of hardware that I'd hate to let go :'(
I'd be happy to provide more information, if required

I take it you do not have international warranty.
What I would do is ship it to a friend in the USA and have them take it in for warranty repair.
If not, contact the place you bought it from and ship it directly to them.
The shipping charges should be less than having to buy a new laptop.
