I'm having a problem: Since today, when I connect the charger to my laptop, the battery LED blinks every five seconds, when it is supossed to be a constant orange/white light; it has been that way until now and I don't know what that means. It only happens when it's charging, when it's unplugged or not charging, it's a constant light. If someone could explain why this happens, please help me solve this, I'm afraid this could mean a problem with the battery, power supply components or something related, the laptop costed a lot of money and sacrifice to acquire, so I don't want a product that failed my expectations. I still have warranty so I can still send it for repair.

Hi brandon_bc99 ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Based from the battery status indicators presented in the hardware manual (Item 2 Page 28).
Battery status indicator :
On (solid white) : Discharging / The battery has more than 20% charge.
Solid amber : Discharging / The battery has between 5% and 20% charge.
Fast blinking amber : Charging/Discharging / The battery has less than 5% charge.
Slow blinking amber : Charging / The battery is being charged. When battery charge reaches 20%, the blinking color changes to white.
Slow blinking white : Charging / The battery has between 20% and 80% charge and is still charging.
When the battery reaches 80% charge the light will stop blinking, but charging will continue until the battery is fully charged.
So it is either that the battery is on conservation mode that is why it never reached above 80% as the white blinking LED did not stop , or it may be an issue with the integrity of the battery that is usual for some battery reaching more than a year since battery are since consumable device.
What you can try is check for power option and see how it charge to 100 % using high performance mode.
You may also check on the battery meter using One key optimizer or Lenovo Energy manager.
