I have a Lenovo Y50-70 model 20378 and I also recently bought the Lenovo Power Bank. I charged the power bank, got 4 lights, tried it on the computer (off) and the charge light flashes on the laptop.
I start the laptop and once windows 10 has started, I get a compatibility error popup box and a link to buy a power adapter, which ironically enough takes me to the page with power adapters, including the Power Bank.
Seems to be an issue where it may not supply enough power to run the laptop while it is on?
Power icon on the status bar shows a red X.
I found some fine print on the power bank on the Lenovo site but not other resellers - not for laptops with discreet graphics... this should have been made a bit more prominent in the description.
Did I waste $100 buying this?

Welcome to the community forums.
The Y50-70 needs 135W adapter based on the psref: (http://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/Sys/PDF/Lenovo%20Laptops/Lenovo%20Y50,%20Y50%20Touch/Lenovo_Y50_spec...) and the power delivery of the power bank is below 65W (https://support.lenovo.com/ec/en/accessories/acc500013)so it will not work.
