Some time ago hinge in my laptop started to break, so I used an adhesive tape to hold it. It was fine, but it started to fracture. I thoughtlessly cut tape to see what is going on and accidentally broke it even more. Then I closed the lid, oppened again and my screen has stopped working. I have tried to don't damage the wires inside while oppening, so I think this is caused because of the broken detector of position of the lid. The hinge can not even raise the screen. Now I am going to buy new hinge and replace it, but I don't know how to replace it without dealing even more damage, fix the wires are damaged and where I can find a cheap one. Using this laptop through HDMI is really unconfortable, so I want to fix it.

Hello P333
Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
You can just simply follow the hardware manual for the unit, it details how to and what to take apart in order.
You can also find it on the support page if you do not have it for some reason.
https://support.lenovo.com/de/en
You can also find instructional videos over here:
https://www.lenovoservicetraining.com/showcase?sid=581&key=TGVuZw==
These may be of little more use than just the manual itself. Simply follow the steps to get to the parts you want without damage.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
