Hello everyone. I have recently update my Y50-70 to Windows 10 Pro. My issue is that when i connect with Wi-fi to the internet i have about 15mbps while when i connect with ethernet i have around 35 mbps. My modem is 2 meters away from me and when i run the test with my Android phone through the same page for internet speed i get around 30mbps. I have the Broadcom 802.11ac network card. When i install the driver for this card from lenovo ( the WLAN Driver (Atheros, Broadcom, Realtek) driver) i cannot connect to any Wifi and sometimes i got a screen freeze so i forced reboot. I have tried to unistall the driver from device manager and then reboot my pc but i got the same result in speedtest.I called lenovo and they told me to wait until the driver is udated again (last update July of 2016) but they didn't know if the driver will be updated soon. Any solutions?
Sorry for the bad english.

I assume the problem come after Windows 10 Pro right? So, the problem would be either Driver... or just that Windows 10 try to download update to itself when you tested it. Well, mostly it is not Windows 10 updated but I think you should use stock Windows 10 Wifi Driver. My Wifi in Y50-70 is Atheros AR956x and using Windows 10 Driver right now. The Wifi speed look great. The speed is around 40Mbps (about 5 MB/s).
I'm not using driver from Lenovo not because it is slow, but it is outdated. You can try using 'Iobit Driver Booster' to get newest WiFi Driver for your system and try that too. Although, I did have it installed in my system but I didn't have it install any newer WiFi Driver as I fairly pleased with driver from Microsoft.

Then you uninstall the driver from device manager. You should tick 'Delete the driver software for this device' as well. It will uninstall and delete all related driver files, thus it cannot use the same driver again. This way the system will not try to install the same driver as last one that you deleted.
But there should be only 1 driver that you cannot delete them. If you can deleted all your driver, that is fine. Install the Driver from Lenovo website and run Windows Update to see if there are any Broadcom WiFi driver available in Windows Update.
If this cannot solve your issue I think it is related to the WiFi card. May be the antennas connected to the Wifi card is some how not connected properly. The antennas on Y50-70 is on both side of the screen. So, maybe closing the lid too many time can lead to WiFi problem too. But I not experience it first handed.
