Lenovo Y500 170 W Adapter

So i just pulled out my laptop from the bag it was in, and turned it on, i pluged the adapter and it didn't charge so i started looking what is going on. No i am sitting here with my adapter in hand and it is leaking some kind of liqued from it, it hasn't been near water .... and i have no idea what it is ... any one can help ?

 Hi Spre4,

 

Don't use it, it sounds like a transformer or capacitor inside the adapter is leaking.  You could burn up the charging circuit inside the laptop if you keep using it.  

 

If your machine is under warranty, make a call to service, otherwise, get a new adapter.

Well yes i stoped using it, and after a few seconds of using it it made a
few sounds and i have orderd a new one !! Tnx for the help !!!
