Lenovo Y500 Wi-Fi Upgrades

I'm looking to install a dual-band WLAN adapter into my Y500, but it is unclear which models are compatible. One option I've found is the Intel 3160. Does anyone know if that will work, or have a better suggestion? Thanks!

Do take time to review the topic as alternative to wlan for your model .

Update us how things would work best for you.
