Lenovo Y520 doesn't start

I woke up this morning and tried to turn on my laptop, but after five seconds, it turns itself off.

Sometimes it turns on, but after I log in to windows, it crashes.

I would like to mention that I installed a M.2 ssd four days ago, but the laptop worked just fine.

Lot of things can cause that. Try the easy stuff first: Use the power button to turn off the machine and continue to hold it in for a full minute after the machine shuts off. 

 

If that still doesn't work, try booting into the recovery environment, BIOS screens or a USB drive.

I've tried everything you said, but I still have the same problem.

I couldn't boot into bios or the recovery environment.

Probably a longshot, but do you still have the HDD you swapped out? 

 

Could also be worthwhile to disassemble and look to see if you got it all together correctly.. no loose cables, screws, etc.

I didn't swap the hdd, i still have it in my pc.

I've only placed the new ssd in the M.2 slot.

The cables seem to be ok, but i have removed a screw from the hdd tray because I needed it for my ssd, since it came wihout a screw.

Sorry. Misunderstood your initial post. 

 

The only other easy thing is to try booting it without the new drive.

 

At that point, if it's still under warranty, time to send it in.

It doesn't boot. I think my warranty is no longer available. I'm going to look for a computer service or something like that. Thank you for your help!
