Lenovo Y530 Upgrade from Vista to 7 - Lack of Drivers for 64bit System

2009-12-22, 0:18 AM

So I checked Lenovo's driver support for my notebook (http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/en/DriversDownloads/drivers_list.aspx?CategoryID=13) but it seems Lenovo only has Windows 7 32bit support at the moment?

I find it a bit odd that Lenovo isn't offering 64 bit support for Windows 7 when they have 32 bit drivers in place. I also know it's not advised that I install 32 bit drivers for my 64 bit system. I also looked through the other IdeaPad Support/Drivers and it seems that they all have drivers that support a 64 bit system.

So, is anyone aware of where I can get my hands on 64 bit drivers/support? Or any knowledge on when these drivers will be available?

try this:

or you can download drivers needed from here :

or you can wait a little bit.
