I've had my y550p for 8 months now, and I just recently started noticing a huge ammount of wobbling. I just called in customer support to send it in for a fix, but the guy wasn't very clear on whether or not I could remove my harddrive before sending it in. He just said remove the battery and a/c adapter. I'm pretty sure I can remove the harddrive but I just want to double check to make sure.
Also, After my warranty wears off, I eventually want to be able to fix a wobbly screen myself. Does anyone know where I can find a set of instructions to tighten the hinges?

Really? Just for a hardware problem?
And does that y510 model have the same hinges as a y550?
the very last post here was able to send it in for the same problem without a harddrive.
