Re: Lenovo Y560P forgotten Bios

Hi Kepi,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

I’m sorry to hear that your Y560p is prompting to enter BIOS password after making changes in partition and installing other OS (Operating System) in the computer, this might have occurred if you have tried to install the OS when the secure boot option is enabled in the BIOS. Flashing or trying to update it cannot resolve this issue. I would Strongly Suggest Calling Technical Support for Assistance to get guided to exact department of sales.

Click here to open a link where you can select the country and get the exact contact support number. I’m sure they will be a great help.

Do post us back for further queries.

Best Regards

Re: Lenovo Y560P forgotten Bios

Hi Kepi,

I’m sorry to inform you that as the password prompt is popping up before the BIOS accessed, there is no other available option in our nearest Authorized Service center they will try to flash the BIOS, if that is not working replacing the Motherboard will resolve the issue, as there is no other option to resolve the issue.
