Lenovo Y580 won't start up

2014-09-18, 21:08 PM

My Lenovo Y580 seems to have a problem starting up. I'm not sure what the cause of the problem is but I tried using the NOVO button for the system recovery. After attempting this, a black screen appeared saying:

"Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

1. Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer.

2. Choose your language settings, and then click "Next."

3. Click the "Repair your computer."

If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

Status: 0xc000000e

Info: An unexpected error has occured"

After seeing this screen, my laptop shut off on its own. Unfortunately, I do not have the disc nor do I know the cause of this problem.
