I removed my original keyboard that does not have backlit feature. It seems to me the motherboard has one more connector next to the keyboard one. However, I really would like to confirm my motherboard has the backlit feature connector.
Do you know how to confirm it?
Please let me know it.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
You can share the machine number / MTM from the sticker (ex. 59425579) or to check it from here. Likewise if you have a photo of your board showing an available port near the keyboard slot, this can help us check if backlit is possible for this machine.

The motherboard is PN 90006955 ACLUG MB W8S I5-4200U 2G 1000M. Checking on suggested image of the board. It does not show any slot for backlit. As shown on the sample image here (back side) are connector for the keyboard and touchpad only.

I have L480. It has a backlit keyboard but it really is not worth it. I presume it was part of the purchase order as a standard part. The light is very dim, and seems to be comming from behind the keys, not through them.
